Thanks for the reply! I also think I was overthinking it... I'm sleeping better since I calmed down lolI grow exclusively in dwc and from what I've read , I reckon you are just overthinking it dude.
If my water drops , ec increases , I just add water ( I use rain water ) and then adjust pH need be and if ec is dropping , I'll generally add abit more then when I top off the res. I do use a fair bit of calmag, but if you are using too much she will definitely let you know.
As for beneficial bacteria, do your self a favour and google hiesenberg tea. I've had no root rot ever since introducing that, dosnt even cross my mind now days.
I'm getting roughly a pound off a 6 week veg doing rdwc
I do the same when it comes to EC but I'm still a little bit confused about the right feeding amount. Especially after adding extra Epsom Salt because my plants are very deficient. I think I used too much calmag which in turn locked out other nutrients and that's why my plants look like shit now. Anyway bit by bit I get closer to the right ratios and so on.
Right now the plant grew a good amount in the last 2 weeks but still showing signs of deficiency... I'll see how she's doing in a week! I think it got better already! But I don't want to overdo it again! Thats why I'm a bit confused. I think the plant needs more food but idk I'll keep an eye on it.
Wanted to switch after 2 month veg but she is still deficient and didn't grow a lot in the two month so I'll wait until she is better before I switch.
Thanks for the heisenberg tea tip! I will look that up and try to incorporate this in my routine!
How big are your plants after a 6 week veg? Mine are 2 month old now... But I think they could be way bigger (and also less deficient lol)
