I'm NOT Bmeat, so please help ME ???

Hey, let me begin, I AM NOT Bmeat. Ok Im AUssie, theres a BIG difference. Now my question is : I can buy a perlite/vermiculite 2-1 mix for $20, but do I need to put straight perlite in the reservoir in hempy bucket, or can I just put the mix in the res? Otherwise I'm gunna have to a) sort the perlite from the verm or b) get a bag of verm (another $20) Thanks :fire:

I think originally they used a combo of both, so I think you would be o.k with the mix. As long as your not bmeat,lol

no im not bmeat. I know they used/ use both but just wondering about the bottom bit, where I guess drainage capability is more important, so maybe straight perlite is better? (just for the first few inches?) or does it not matter to have moisture holding medium in the res? Or should I just use straight perlite? the plants going in are 6wk white widow clones DM Gold nutes.

You might want to see if you could at least modify your name. The administration has said this is Definitely not Bmeat.
I don't use hydroponics so I can't really help you.

Why the fuck would you stop using the account you were using before when you found out about bmeat

you may not be bmeat but i read where you posted that you chose the name on purpose because of bmeat, and frankly i dont think you will ever get out from the stigma attached to that name. i mean if u have to preface anything you post with im not bmeat, your just going to run into years of trouble.
that said i have no idea how to answer your question i onyl know about soil grows

From what I have read, it depends on who wrote the "how to". I've read that you can use rocks or gravel too. Its just a reserve that has good drainage. I believe you'll be fine...
