I'm new with little money but a good start!

Hey everyone! Just joined today, and thought I would see if I could get some people's opinions about my setup. Just to give some background about me. I'm 23 years old, and just started growing. My dad grew for six years before he passed away in '05. Just recently my wife gave me the okay to start growing to help get some extra income coming in.
I have two lights which are in the pictures, and an installer at where I work has given me some plants. My mom is also getting back to growing and helping me, but my dad was the one growing, so she can't remember alot. I also have bubble bags and a hyrdo system from NAHyrdo that she kept.
The plants are in the pictures, and just wondering if they are doing okay. I read the new grow thread and I see the Spider Mites, and am going to get some stuff to spray the underside of the leaves to get rid of them. There are yellow spots on the plants, and I am going to leave them on for 18 hours a day. I don't have a lot of money until I get really started, just seeing if there is anything else I could really do with my setup right now.
Thanks for reading!

im new my self but what i have seen and read. 1 plant per pot or the roots will intertwine and plants will starve other for nutrients. nice light set up have that will help alot. It also looks like your plants are stretching alot. your lights are most likely to far away. you want to get that light as close as u can get it. as for the discoloration im haven that same problem. at first i thought i was over watering then i relised my soil was way to dry all the way down. so idk..

Changed the info, appreciate it. I thought about taking the plants apart but I figured they would get too much root strain and die, so I just left them in the bigger pot. I have a water meter, so I should be good with the watering. The plants that are in the pictures; I have no idea what strain they are. Installer just threw the seeds into a pot and let them grow. My mom is working on White Russian and Bubblegum. I just gotta see about pricing now.

from what i've read, agreeing with foolieo when u start getting more then one plant per pot then grow together which will give u problems in the long run. And drop your light down :) Other then that looks good.
