Anyone have any reccomendations for where to move in Michigan? Somewhere relatively inexpensive, where I can be left alone for some peace and quiet? Maybe even a bit (45 minutes max) from a big city?

That's basically what i'm doing. The girlfriend is more experienced in Michigan areas. I'm born and raised Nova, so she's settin the place, but keepin in mind NORML chapters, which there are a ton of there.

So there's obviously some good hikes in Michigan I take it. Any good climbing? I require these things for where I want to move:
1.) Far enough removed from a city where I have my privacy, but not so far that I can't get a job because I live in a hick-town.
2.) Good rock for climbing.
3.) Hiking trails
4.) Fairly inexpensive cost of living (No LA, Chicago, NYC cost of living - That shit's nuts!)

Ideally, I'd like to be in the mountains where I can get atop some 14ers and shit. But I didn't mean to threadjack...
