As I and others have mentioned growing organically you dont need to ph. Using liquid food or water soluble food isn't growing organically. Only ph meters for liquids or soil i use are blue lab, I cant recommend another brand that I haven't used. As mentioned above transplanting into new soil meant for established plants will correct any deficiency. Reason I said something was off is because of how small plants are they look a couple to 3 wks old and shouldnt be having this much deficiency this early. They dont use much at this time.

Does the meter that I linked measure pH levels similar to the way a Bluelab measures pH levels? Like what is the process for measuring pH? Do I stab it into the soil to take a reading? Or do I need to take the soil outside the container and add stuff to it BEFORE I dip the pen into the sample for a reading?

Theres different ones the one you linked reads liquids not soil itself you can do a slurry test with a scoop of soil in a cup of water let it sit for a bit before checking. Or get a runoff reading using the one linked
This one is made to stick directly into soil

Make sure you use distilled water.

So if I bought that pH meter I linked, I'd take some of my soil, mix in some distilled water, let it sit and then I'd be able to apply the pen to that soil and get a reading?

Yes, that's a common method growers use to get a close estimation of soil ph.

Yes you'll get a reading but you're focusing too much on measuring pH of the soil. And if you're thinking of testing the pH of the seed starter mix in those small pots that's a pointless endeavor. Once you you have this data how are you going to use it to correct the issues you're having with your plants?

It's your road to travel so drive as you please.

It's more or less to have on hand in case I do need it. It takes about a week to ship from Amazon and Amazon is the only place to get it.

I added a fertilizer to my soil and I have no idea what I'm doing. Granted, I did add something with a OMRI label. But I'm still concerned about what I just did. Could I have just changed or altered my soil pH level in any way by adding that granulated fertilizer?

I'm assuming that you're planning on transplanting those plants into bigger pots of something other than seedling starter mix. If so just do it now. If you plant them into some decent soil that will take care of things for now. It doesn't make sense to fool around top dressing plants in small containers of seedling mix. Get them into something so they can grow.

Good answer! I grow in organic super soil that I make. Super soil is great, but way too hot for seedlings and fresh clones. Because of that, I make a very weak organic soil for beans and clones. In about 2 weeks, they will start to show some hunger[just like yours]. By this time they are well established in their small pots. Once they look hungry, they get up potted into my super soil and off we go! good luck...

Baby step amigo, #1 Don't panic, #2 be gentle and #3 make small corrections and give them time to work.
Panic will make you act irrationally, getting too hands on will stress your plants, and if you don't give your corrections time to work, how will you know what worked [or didn't].

Cheap PH pens are fine. Blue labs is very popular and reliable. Strips are fine too. I’d argue that strips though are reliable, your eyes are not always reliable.

the most accurate PH pen is one that has been calibrated. Calibration solution doesn’t care if your pen cost $10 or $500. If it’ll calibrate to the proper PH then you are golden.

same logic goes for PPM meters.

There is liquid organic nutes out there. I don’t want to argue with purist. If you must have the omri label then you won’t find many. Most companies claim they can’t afford the certification process.

KNF is liquid based. Cost basically nothing. If you want to maintain a “omri” only input they only use omri inputs in your KnF stuff.

I’m using Nectar from the gods. It has no OMRI label. The owner even said one of his bottles is not organic. I’m not a purist so I’m okay with this. I tend to use less of that bottle, or use one of the alternative bottles they made for people who don’t like/want the inorganic material they used.
