To the OP: If this is your first grow congrats on your first harvest
!! I'm sure its gonna be some lovely smoke esspecially if it really is tahoe. The one time smoked what I was "told" was Tahoe it was some killer smoke that tasted great.
It looks to me from the curling on the older lower growth that this plant has been fighting a deficiancy/toxicity for weeks. When the leaves "claw" like that its usually a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. In turn other nutrients can get locked out and stop absorbing. Then the plant can't use the nutrients it needs even if you are providing them to it. Thus the plant is unable to produce as well. Now that being said many OG's don't yield heavily particularly without special training like Lst or scrog.
Mader89 what you smoked was bud that wasn't dried and cured properly which is why it snap crackled and popped.
I'm not gonna get into a big debate about flushing and I don't think anyone else should clutter his thread doing so. What I will say is once a grower learns hows to properly dry and cure their product, they need to try flushing and not flushing to see if there is a difference. We all grow diffferently, and there is no ONE right way. I flushed for several years when I first started growing and was still learning the basics. Then I started experimenting with trying different things and in some cases not trying them. I stopped flushing about 5 years ago and have never looked back. My friends that get to smoke a little, not knowing its mine, always rave about the flavors. They constantly say they don't understand how I get such good weed and they can never find anything like it. Thats just my experiance, I also do not try to force feed my plants nutes. I give them what they need and I let them eat right up till when I cut them.
