Went to Mexicali a couple years ago. I thought border towns were crap Mexican food, drug stores and prostitution. Did see a lot of pharmacies but no way José. I get my meds legally. Trying to leave is a whole other matter. Drug dogs, X-ray machines, a million questions. The biggest thing I remember was that I was the tallest guy in the town. I'm only 5'9". I'm sure there are beautiful places to live in Mexico but I won't go to a border town again.
