I'm firing up the smoker today!

I never could get into sushi. But I've been wanting to give it another try.
Oh my. It’s my fucking fav.

I would eat nothing but sushi, forever, if given the choice.

For some reason I thought you were a big fan of the tuna taco…

eh?

ehhhhhhhh?

Um...country fried steak?

Is this what I saw on the Denny's menu once? Breaded and deep fried steak?

I'm sure you love it. I bet it even tastes good...

But the thought of doing that to a steak makes me feel like this...

The girlfriends grandmother cooked it, so yes I ate it and I fucken loved it. She even made her own breading, gravy and taters with it. No, it was not something you'd get off of a Denny's menu.

look at it like this.
texas has double the cows and beef production than the runner up state.. we know meat, and how it should be prepared or needs to be prepared.. wether thats a fatty brisket thats been sitting at 180°f smoking for 24hrs with perfect bark etc or triple dipped and deep fried with gravy. both are delicious and take some tlc to get right

chicken fried steak originates in this great state side by side some of the best common dishes. brisket, also popular in the south has alot of connective tissue, not exactly a great cut if cooked like a rib eye. most southern cuisine comes from cheap dishes. the chicken fried steak is also a cheap piece of meat.. well a few cuts really.. that usually has to be beaten and tenderized. the methods of cooking is what makes it

i would never put steak sauce on a steak lol, a1 can go extinct for all we care .. ruins it. i wouldnt normally fry a more expensive cut, but yiu certainly can. diced up, and fried. its bangin

its as southern as peach cobbler, nilla bean ice cream, grits, biscuits and gravy, catfish, fried pickles etc.

you need some dirty in you yess..

good shit....if made properly.

heres some meals from the past bit
not hard to eat vegan pretty easy now a days with all the substitutions,
just gotta be a bit creative or think outside the box at first, its hard to do things differently when youve been doing them the same way for so long

like you think well how can i replace an egg in banana bread, oh well 1 tbs of ground up chia or flax seed plus 3 tbs of water chilled for 10 mins has the same outcome
