im confused about sex

 OK all jokes aside, My plants are day 7 of flowering. They are starting to show sex. I can see at least one by the hairs starting to pop out. But a few others I dont know about. Some have clusters of three pods at the nodes... Im guessing males. But I also may have hermies cause next to a cluster I see a hair starting to come out....

The real worry I have is pollination. If I wait a while I know I will know the sex... but at this stage... Its hard to tell.

AT what point do the male balls get to the point that they mature and begin to pollinate?

Can I chill for a bit and wait to see?

This helps. how long till they drop pollen? When are they mature? On my females, I am just now seeing a few pistils emerge. can pollination begin this soon?

I really dont want to pull any plants untill Im dead sure they are males.

Also If I find a hermie, can I cut off its balls to keep it from pollinating the rest of the plants without damaging the plant itself?

yea, sounds like you got confused by the stipules? they are not signs of sex.

personally i would leave it slightly longer before pulling,. you have time.

i've almost pulled girls before because i though they were male.

you should have long enough to be 100% sure.

if you have balls like that pic then its a male or a hermie.

I took a look again today... big change in one night. Two were deffinite males..so I choped em down. :-(

The good thing is the other two larger plants are both females, and since yesterday I have started seeing buds form. :-P

so I guess it was a 50/50 ratio for my plants. I cant complain.

When things start to plump up a bit Im gonna post some pics.

thanks to you all.

Males take about 2 weeks to open pollen sacks.

I believe when you tell people they got females they walk off with a smile, soon as ya start mentioning males the thread stays alive for a while untill the denial is over lol

I was the same when i seen my first males ever took me about a week to chop em down :blsmoke:
