well guys n gals, moved across the country for no real reason except for MMJ. Im not a overzealous stoner looking to start a career. dont get me wrong. i just like to be free
any way heres the current situation, I have been legal for almost a month, in that time i got my 150whps (20$ dollar light setup) ghetto rigged to grow the four clones iv aquired from dispensarys in SOCAL. Im dealing with a burmese kush(the biggest and quickest growing of the four) a norther lights(not branching much but just as tall as the first plant) a lavender which i am trying to LSt to circle all the way around the pot, and a grand daddy purp which the newest addition to the family
but is still very small and quite immature. i have no way of knowing the quality or even the strain since i havent personally seen the seeds/mothers used.
the ups dropped off my aeroponic cloner today, and i got my clonex in earlier this week.
option 1) should i take a clone from both of the tall plants (NL and Burm.Kush) and start to flower them and leave the gdp and lavender to keep vegging for awhile with the new clones? their size is starting to really over shadow the smaller 2 plants even after being topped and topped.
option 2) should i take 1-2 clones from ALL the plants in like a week or two when the small ones have branches, and immediatley bloom all the plants keeping no mothers only clones? i dont know if i would kill the clones on accident and then have no surviving genetics of these strains if i did get lucky and have somthing really good
im kinda asking for advice mainly because i have never cloned anything or kept a mother plant alive for any reason. I only have one tent, so anything else that was being vegged would be on a counter with cfl's above it which i know isnt ideal.
