Im averaging about .35 GPW. What about you? Tips, Tricks....

Ive grown your classic christmas tree
Ive SCROGed, Ive SOGed, I have trained into 4 main branches
Ive been 110% organic, 100% NOT organic, a happy mix of the two
I keep a tight ship RH55%, Temps 65-75F, good equipment, roots soil, best nutes money can buy. Bio-canna, General Organics, Subs Super Soil, Botanicare.. LOTS of Botanicare, and even Fox Farm.
AND I HAVE READ ABOUT 10 books ranging from strait up botany to the 'bible', everything, microbiology even. WTF
Even now with my first Hydro crop i got exactly .35 GPW, 7.5oz total. It was only six plants in kind of a SOG set up on a flood and drain table.

I WANT TO YEALD 1GPW. IM SURE EVERY ONE WOULD LIKE TO.

This last one is a pic my wife took just after last christmas of my Big Buddha Cheese and the bong I got for christmas.

stick with 1 way and get your strain dialed in. have at it....peace

The only advice I have for you on obtaining more gpw is to keep them as healthy as you can.

Canna aqua vega with Rhizotonic and canna pk13/14 is what I use and I generally average 400-500g from 400w. I also use canna mono Ca and mono Mg because I use hydro nutes in coco.

I grow 4plants 2ft tall with around 4-5oz per plant.

Lolly popping, Lst, Topping ect, Works for my indicas they love it, usually get around 1g/watt but its all genetics, the strain i grow is a cross of bigbud

Holy Shit!

I have always been confused on lolly popping. What week do you do it? Not in flower i hope...... Its seemed like when I tried that out my plants just never fully matured. I did it right around when they were done stretching in flower like week2.5 of flower

I personally top my 4 when they have around 7 nodes.

Give them a few days to recover and divert the auxins to the growing tips. I then choose the 4 best branches off the main stem and cut everything else off. Giving me 4 mains.

At this point I heavily trim the 4 mains to leave around 3 nodes on each main.

Couple of days recovery and induce 12/12.

During the first week of flowering I watch to see if any new growth develops below my trimming. If it does I trim it off.

I then only keep 1.5-2ft from the top down on the plants. Anything below this line I trim off as it grows. This way it gives me large heavy colas with some decent secondary growth.

That's all I do. But as already mentioned I keep them green the whole way through.

I agree with Jondamon keep them girls green! I vegg for 8 weeks with my setup. But I like to grow huge plants, either tall christmas trees or huge bushes I always lollipop them branches tho. i stick my hand in and if it isn't mostly covered in light I remove it. "if it ain't got light, it ain't right" GONE! During Vegg. Then During Flower I'll stick with this method until end of 2nd week. Then after that I will seldomly remove entire smaller branches if they aren't strong or are making a big stretch just to get a couple buds some light. IDK I hang in my grow room for a few hours a day, and even at night i chill in there with my green light just to feel what they are feeling. If i'm not comfortable I feel they wouldn't be...so I make tweaks all the time....sometimes can't explain why I did something just get that feeling of "if I were this plant I would want......" lol sounds stupid ik I just love my job!!

growing what I have in this room now I get about 8-10 lbs dried .85 GPW - 1.25GPW +. There's such a big difference because of genetics. SK get around 2lbs per plant and I have never got less than 1LB off of a plant with this setup. The middle plant has four 1000watt hps lights on it it has way more compact buds on it than it's sisters with two 1000w lights on them. So my trick is light and lots of it and huge plants with awesome immune systems and as always genetics. We have gotten almost 12 Lbs from this setup in the past using CM, no lie believe it or not idc. they were 7 feet tall rotated every day and lights were moved up and down to satisfy upper growth. I've heard of people pulling 5 off of single indoor plants.

keep up the good work I pull 6 to 8 oz off a plant and rock six under a light with three rows of two thousand watts without co2 ha ha

Meant 4 under a light at six to 8 oz about a qp a plant if I rock six under a 1 k with my chem 91

what about your light distance ..getting your light as close as possible?

Also ,second pic in from the right ,doesnt look like great light distribution there ,seems like a lot of the plants are quite shaded..and is that a metal halide your flowering with?

Or is that just so you could get pics..

What kind of bulb mh or hps?
How many watts?
in a couple pics it looks like they are in small pots I use 15-20 gallon pots
puff is right on some of those plants look like try arnt getting much light, how big is your setup and how many lights to cover it all

you're not mentioning what lights you're using.

^^^ what adower said, there's more layers to the onion here
if that's cfl's, that's not a bad yield, if HPS, improvement seems possible

Last grow - lot's of issues... Only .28 and quality just wasn't there

8-10 week veg time.
4'-5' plants (12) at a time in flower.
usually 4oz per plant averag.
