Man...y'all are getting too deep with the analyzation of the word.

Im not advocating for chemical nutrients but going organic by flopping down your credit card at the local hydro shop
is not all their is to it. You need a good mind and experience for 100% organic and its proving to hard for me.
That's where most new to organic growers go wrong, because they think that's all there is to it, just buying organic whatever and the rest will fall into place.

Organic is easy, but there IS a learning curve involved. I've been growing *stuff* for ~40 years and organic for the last 4. Tons of experience and I'm still getting the organics dialed in. It's not an overnight proposition.

If that Max Sea is working that well for you and the pics show it is, I'd stay with that and do organic's on the side till the experience level comes up.

If you can, doing organic container veggies like peppers, or tomatoes, or such is a good way to acquire organic soil skills without having to suffer small/stunted plants and reduced yields.

even if you have reduced yeilds from switching to organic. Your crop will still be smellier, tastier, and more crystallized.

Some people have a knack for it and some people don't. Some people like the mathematical equations that it takes to run a chemical grow and others like the natural feel or organics. I'm sure he's read plenty like the rest of us, but putting it into practice is a different question entirely. Like suggested earlier, he needs to have a couple plants to play with to help him learn it without reducing his overall crop.

BTW, I only clicked on this thread because I remember DAJ's avatar from last night and wanted to see it again. Its a good avatar, sir. You should link a nigga to a bigger version of it.

I thank Sir Mix A Lot everyday I see a white girl with a nice ass. White women really started to flaunt their asses after Baby Got Back was a hit. I think that song taught them to be proud and I couldn't be happier.

Its a new world. :*)
Oh really?? So you jumped into his brain and thats how u figured that out. What does assuming do? Makes an ass out of you and me..

Check out "teaming with microbes". A great book to get a basic understanding of soil.

Actually I think you who just made an ass out of me and you.

Its not that big of a deal.

I'm just saying he doesn't have a knack for organics. Thats pretty obvious. Not assumed. If he didnt read a book, I could care less, he's online trying to learn. Online there's reading involved. So...you know...relax.

Ohhh im cool as a cucumber. dont worry my friend. Organics is tough, in the beginning i didnt get it. Just because you dont have a knack doesnt mean you should decide to not study further. Why dont you let people speak for themselves? If you did we wouldnt be arguing right now.

Organics is fuckin cool, don't give up. after you get it right you will wonder why you hadn't done it this way all along. It's fucking simple. Like everyone else said though, You need to acquire the knowledge first hand in order to apply it. But seriously, once you understand it you will soon realize how fuckin simple it is. I use guanos, kelp, EWC, molasses, and of course the occasional preventative dip of neem. I was like you in the beginning of my organic journey, clueless. I read a lot of shit. If you dont like to read than im sorry for you. Also, your hydro guy told you it would take years for you to build your soil. I reuse my soil and it only took 1 grow for my soil to be good to go, of course you need to ammend every grow, but that's a different story. I think your hydroguy got scared you were considering the notion of going ganic because he knows you wont buy his bottles of shiny overpriced synthetics once you see the light..... of course you will have to buy organic ammendments, but they will last you forever. If you live in your own house with a spot to garden you can even say fuck buying anything ever again and read a little bit about dynamic accumulators. read on brother, read on

You can figure it out bro... first time running through organics I was pulling around 12 ounces a light... last run around I was at 23 ounces a light.

You need to learn what is going on with the interactions of microbes, and the nutrients that you are adding to your soil. You will also want to learn what tricks and supplements to use when a problem strikes...

Also, it's good to know ahead of time what is going to go wrong with your plants or what they will need, since organics respond slower than synthetics (in most cases). This is something that you will need experience for, not just knowledge.

Good luck, pm if you need any tips with anything specific.

my thoughts exactly... for anything that can happen to your plants there is an organic solution to take care of it as well. The only sad day will be when you run out of the sweet medicine ; (

I think the best way to learn organics is having at least one successful harvest.

Its a plant, take one plant and listen to your name sake. Get 1 15 gal pot. Fill with ffof and top soil or veggie compost at 50/50. Add some perlite. Use a ratio of 50/50/20 and just add pure non chlorinated water. Don't worry about yield. It's just a plant so just let nature take its course.

Btw, don't let your temptation get to you if big leaves start to fade. Just let it go, you'll have enough soil to veg 5 weeks and flower. If outdoors stick em out ASAP.
