58 days to your mailbox even seems early to have got into the file to see they need more information.

I'm checking this thread like it was my own mail (because that's only 5 days from when my card was charged). Whatever it is could mean I'm stalking my mail carrier next week.
My check was cashed last week. It was dated 8.30.2018. I mailed everything in on 8.30.2018, so I assume they got it the first week of September. Looking at the timelines of others, hopefully I get mines by next week. I’ll post when I do.

update: check was cashed today. I did email the state but that was a week ago and no response yet. Hopefully this means my card will be here soon!
timeline:
9/6 mailed application
11/21 check cashed / spoke to idph who said it looks like they've just started processing my application.
Hopefully my card is coming? I'm worried with my qualifying doctors suspension I will be screwed and have to start allover.
Does the state cash and keep your application fee no matter what?

ok, here is timeline
applied online on 9/5 and card was charged that day.
Got card in mail earlier today 11/21.
Just got home from my first shopping trip
Got a eighth of Mag91, eighth of Corleone the kush, eighth of blueberry headband and a 5 strain 1 gram each sampler pack.
It's going to be a fun weekend!

My application/check was mailed out October 9, was received by IDPH on October 11. I called the division of medical cannabis yesterday and they told me my application is in the system. Check still hasn’t been cashed, but I’ll provide an update when I next hear something.
Also, am I reading the IL statute correct in that if my application is on record in the IDPH’s system (which dispensaries should have access to), I can go to the dispensary to which I applied and the they can provide me provisional access while my application is approved?

They havent told any dispensary how that process will work, mine has no idea as of today. They do not think the state will be ready for provisional access anytime soon, they are thinking spring of 2019 is probably when that will all be in place.
