Hello all!
I’ve been addicted with this thread and finally decided to talk about my story since I’m confused. So I’m seeing a lot of once your check/card iscashed your medical card has 10-14 days to come in. But my card was charged really quickly..

Went to innovation express clinic- 5/10/18
Card charged- 5/17/18

Has any got the email of the photo attached? I just find it weird that it seems like everyone waited a long time to have their money taken out and it took quick for me.
I have the same receipt you have. I went to Dr. Footerman at his Springfield office on 06/22/18 my card was charged on 07/12/18. I believe that innovation express clinic just works faster that some of the other clinics. Consider yourself lucky.

I also recently applied for a medical cannabis agent card as I have been hired as a grower. That process went much faster. My card was charged on 7/17/2018 and my agent card has already been sent to the printers, if only my patient card could of went that fast.

Man I tried and tried to get a job in cultivation, I have 20 years experience growing and It would be a dream job..Howd you get hired on if you dont mind me asking??

Hi, so I submitted my application on May 18, it was received on the 19th I believe. Called today and no answer, would it be possible they could’ve sent it to the printers without sending me a final email? I plan to call again Monday but I’m getting really worried since someone said they’re already on May 21st now. Has anyone else experienced this??!

I didn’t receive an email when I was approved. I happened to call the day I was approved and they told me. I’m not sure how some people get emails

I’m new here. Just wanted to say that I just called the IDPH and someone answered immediately. I told her that I submitted my application on May 23rd. She said that they have just begun looking at applications submitted on May 21st so mine will be processed very soon. From what I’ve been reading here, I get the impression that it’s only a matter of a couple weeks from the time the application is processed until the card is mailed. I hope I’m right about this because I don’t have much longer to wait! Anyway, I hope this helps.

This is incredibly helpful. I had my appointment on 6/5 and mailed all paperwork the same day so I’m hoping not to be far behind. Much appreciated and thank you. I was hoping by late August but early September may be more realistic. Thanks for the knowledge.

Just applied on Indeed and on the companies website. I was an electrician. In the interview they asked me a lot of electrical questions so I think that helped me out. (since they use lights to grow I can work on them if need be.)
I just stayed on top of all the job postings. I didn't set out to be a grower. I either wanted to grow or work in a dispensary. I recommend just applying to anything and everything. And don't be afraid to write a cover letter explaining your "Passion for Cannabis".

1. Apply to every new job post everyday. On job boards and the companies actual website if they have one.
2. Write a professional cover letter pertaining to each specific job you are applying for. Explain why you want to work in the industry.
3. Wait and hope for a call.

Illinois passed Senate Bill 336 that will allow anyone with an opioid prescription to walk in a dispensary show their opioid prescription and get medical cannabis that same day. The bill is on Governor Rauner's desk right now. If or when he signs it There will be massive hiring in the industry in Illinois. So just stay on top of it man. I'm sure you can get a job if you have that much experience.

Where are you located if you don't mind me asking?
That way I can recommend companies to apply to.

Your in the right part of the state. I'm down in central Illinois so there aren't as many options for me. I was going to move up North if I had to, but luckily this job came through. I had phone interviews with Pharmacann in Hillcrest and Cresco Labs in Joliet before I got offered this job and never heard back from them. Here is a list of cultivation companies in Illinois. It might come in handy for your job searching.

I'm new to the group and wanted to provide my timeline. I went to MCO on May 10th. I've been patiently waiting and decided to contact IDPH by email today and received this reply:
Thank you for your email. Your patient registry identification card has been approved and sent for printing. You should receive it in approximately 10 to 14 days.

Sincerely,

Division of Medical Cannabis

I did not receive it in the mail today so I'm hoping for tomorrow. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.
