Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Im in the "any day now" gang, as of monday it was sent to printer then mail....Sooo any day now.....Im at Pharrmacannis N.Aurora but think Im gonna move to midwest compassion center they carry alot more of what Im after....

my card was charged 5/31 . I sent an email 7/16 and got an automated response. On 7/25 I got a follow up that seemed a bit more human , but only assured me that they had received my application. I called today and they said mine is in the processing queue and they will mail me a letter if there are any errors , otherwise I can expect it “in the next few weeks”

Just called and the nice gentleman said they are processing my application. About time! He said if they everything I should have my card in 30 days. So I hope that means about 2 weeks. Today is the 71st day since they have had my application. But who’s counting? Almost there!

Lol so because I’m me, I called today just to make sure the email didn’t lie to me and yup! The very sweet lady confirmed that I was approved and card was at the printer! She told me that it’s likely that I will have my card “well before the 10-14 business days.” I’m thinking I’ll have my card before next Saturday.

Here’s my timeline so far:

5/10-went to Innovative Express
5/11-Skype follow up
5/17-State received my application/CC was charged.
7/31-Application in process
8/2-Approved and sent to printer

So from state receiving it to being approved took 77 days. I’ll of course let you guys know once I get my card! :bigjoint:

I’m a day after so fingers crossed I get that email tomorrow!! Congrats!!

They received it on May 11. So I’m thinking Any day next week! It’d be a nice weekend treat if it came today or tomorrow.

Here is my full timeline for anyone-

May 04-Initial Skype dr visit @ Innovative
May 10- Second visit/application filled out
May 11- CC Charged/App received
May12-July 31- waiting and having the state on speed dial lol
August 01- Approved and sent to printer!
TBD-Card in hand and taking medicine

Yolotrap, Informed delivery is sweet...I check mine every morning....
I was approved the 30th, no card in mail today, fingers crossed for tomorrow.Any day now, any day now.....
