Just called the state and said I was approved today and will be printed tonight and shipped tomorrow. She said 10 business days but what do you guys think? How long have you guys waited once it’s printed?

That sounds about right. 7-14 days and your card should be in hand! So jealous! When did you submit/mail to the state?

Hey guys have a question. So I mailed my paper work in on Friday the 29 of June and have yet to get a confirmation that the state received it. So should I be worried or is this normal?

They actually don’t send you a conformation. Some people have conformations because went through an actual place that sends in all the application, etc. for them. That was not the case for me. I saw the doctor and then sent everything in by myself. Hopefullly he sent his part in as well. I emailed the state around day 45 asking if they received my application. I got a very nice email back saying they have my application and will process it in the order they received it. 85-95 days wait from when they received it if everything goes well. That’s what I have seen on this blog.

Im still annoyed at how long this is taking. Went to innovative health in Wheaton for 2 visits first week in May. May 5th last dr appointment. State didn’t get my application until May 27th?? And they said they lost the dr form.

I have already had my surgery as I have cancer. Immunotherapy and second surgery soon. I’ve lost 33 pounds and feel awful. Why is this so damn hard for our state??? Just send out the cards! Applying for a freaking FOID card is faster and easier. Other states approve the same day and you have your card. Just frustrated.

I completely agree with you. It’s ridiculous how long the wait time is.. especially for something you are going through :( I’m seeing wait time are decreasing, not by a lot but still decreasing. Hang in there! :wink:

In the words of Willy Wonka, strike that and reverse it! Apparently our mail got delivered to a neighbor yesterday, happens a lot don't get me started on rural mail carriers! Haha, but my card is in hand! Will be going to the dispensary this afternoon!
I went to mco on April 18th, so 7-10 days from that is when the state received it. I call around day 60 to confirm they had received everything, they said yes but they had not gotten to my name yet. The told me the end of April is when they got it, no specific date even when I asked for one. Then I just waited... it was less than 90 days, but not by much!
Everyone else hang in there! It's brutal I know but research strains, concentrates etc to give yourself some knowledge when you do finally get it! I'll let y'all know how it goes today!
