Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Congratulations to everyone getting their cards and thank you to those posting updates!
I’m wondering if anyone sent in applications adding a caregiver, cards come together? I wonder if that may take additional time?

My mom applied and received her card at her home today, and my husband is her caregiver and received his card at our home today as well.
I am so happy for everyone that got their card today. I just don't understand why I still do not have my card and I was 2 weeks ahead! I called today and got a snippy answer stating that they do not get any information as to when the printing company mails out the cards...so that was no help.

I discovered that there is a very active Illinois Facebook community for Illinois medical marijuana. It is a closed group and you have to write the admin for permission to join. They approved me in 24 hours. Illinois Medical Cannabis Community. I just found it yesterday. There are a good number of posts specifically relating to waiting times. to get our cards I just saw a post from someone who said they received their card today (4/9/201
and it was submitted on January 25, 2018. So that is good news for our wait times. They seem to be getting a little shorter. I'm hoping this is a start of a trend to bring the average waiting time down to 80 days instead of 90.

Hopefully everyone around this timeframe gets theirs soon! I wasn't expecting it to come this fast. I will say the card looks cool. Probably going to wait until I get paid to visit the shop
I'm in the same time frame too, I think it may have to do with when my physician mailed in their end of the paperwork.

Nope....no card again today. I don't get it and calling them didn't get me anywhere.

Well I justgot of the phone with IDPH and it appears somewhere along the line someone transposed 2 numbers in my zip. So i need to wait 10-14 from today again. That's disheartening, though I suppose its IL, I should've expected something like this

Wow that sucks!! Can not even get a 5 Digit number typed in correct. Once again, we all say, "Only in Illinois!"

There is also Illinois Medical Cannabis Community Outreach, which has like 15,700 Members or You said the Illinois Medical Cannabis Community with 12,500 members, Great Find, Thanks

I had my husband fill his application out at the same time but we held off sending, we were not sure if I would be approved and he was working on getting his DL back which is still waiting on the state to send confirmation back on that. Right now I may be going in for another neck surgery if WC would give the approval.
