Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

Mine was received on April 4. I called today n spoke with a lady said the haven’t got to my name yet but the “whole process takes 90 so start counting” is what she said. I just really hope they speed this process up a bit

I recieved mine in 67 days. Maybe it'll stay like that. Or even improve for who that are waiting or apply in near future. Best of luck to everyone. It's well worth the wait.
Man I hope so!! I can’t wait!!! I’m really curious about how the concentrate works. I heard they take 8 grams off ur allowance for a gram of concentrate! What despensirey do u use? I signed up for the green house

I live in Southern Illinois. We have 2 Thrives. And Harbory which is my dispensary I use. It was the first licensed dispensary in the state. I would have to look at my receipt to tell you how they weigh things out. I do know you can file your purchases on your taxes. Which is awesome.

I looked at my receipt. my vape pens and gummies aren't counted against my 2.5 oz. Just weighable flower was.

Inquiring on the validity of my application, specifically if anyones application has been denied due to a pending felony drug charge. This charge is not a conviction and I will not be convicted of it.

Would it show up on a criminal background check? If so, then you'll most likely be denied.
Edit: However, I am aware that you can appeal it in circuit court if you get denied. If you're on facebook, join the group called Illinois Medical Cannabis Community. I've seen some posts from others with similar issues, and there are a couple lawyers on there too that try to help answer questions.

No, I never had to resubmit anything. After he told me my app. is still being worked on, I said okay then waited a little bit hoping he would elaborate. I probably should have asked him. I'll try again Friday.

This is funny... I've much experience, for many years. But I gottasay. When I got there for my first "shopping excursion", I was a bit overwhelmedby the amount to choose from. The girls there were super nice and helpful with explaining everything though.
Just go and ask them questions, got will get sorted.

My doctor at Innovative Express Care actually told me to keep a journal. He said that prior to my first visit I should write a list of all symptoms I have so when I talk to the budtenders I don't forget anything. He also told me to do research on leafly before my first visit so I have some idea on what strains to ask about. Finally, he said to document all products I purchase in the journal, date when I purchased them, and then keep a record on which strains work for me. I think it's a pretty good idea. I know I'm going to be overwhelmed whenever I finally receive my card so I definitely plan on following his advice.
