That'd be the day for illinois allows in home grow. About every surrounding state of Illinois is a felony growing atleast 1 plant
Illinois is 1-5 plants as a misdemeanor.
I feel for all my Illinoisans and hope u all get your card sooner than later

Hey everyone I'm new here signed up to find out if anyone submitted their application around the same time that I did. I sent mine off in the mail on the 3rd of January. Called around the first of February to ensure they received it. The lady told me that it was received and that is all that she can say. Also is there anyone else from the Rockford area like myself?

They have 2 dispensaries out there. If you live out there you are not that far

Yea I have been to both. I spoke to someone in medmar and all the guy did was give me a card for a finger printing company and told to call after I filled out my application online. I refuse to do business with them so I went to mapleglen. That place is awesome. I walked in and they set me up with someone to fill out all my paperwork and also send it in right there and then. Hopefully I hear something soon.

That's really cool man. I could see mapleglen being a better atmosphere.

Yea I gotta say everyone there were quite nice. Hopefully I get my card soon. Even though I'm almost positive I won't see it until maybe next month if I'm lucky. How long did it take for you to get yours Rolla?

No card for me. I caught a felony charge for Possession of an oz of weed back in 09. Don't think I could get one. I'm healthy as a horse and don't have a doctor

Oh that sucks I guess. I'm all jacked up from 8years in the army. And I have one connect and this dude doesn't have anything till the end of the week. This should be an interesting week without lol.

Nope. The VA is useless. I have not been able to get an appointment to see my doctor for another 9 months. Hence the smoking. I'

Hey everyone!

Newbie here, and here's my story:

Went to a fingerprint and doctor same day. They sent all of my documents via snail mail and I mailed my check via snail mail. I would say the idph received it all on 11/24.

Waited until about jan 31st when i saw the check was cashed.

Received a letter in the mail on 2/15 saying they needed one more proof of address from myself and caretaker.

On 2/18 i scanned and emailed the necessary documents to the official email address. Of course i received that automated response.

It's 2/19 and they're closed for presidents day. I understand they're pretty good about responding via email in matters like this if I'm a bit persistent. I emailed them today for follow up. Hopefully they reply by tomorrow.

So it's been about 85 days. I think I'll end up in the over 90 club because of this proof of address business. Btw we sent those necessary docs back in nov. Oh well! I'll let you know what happens asap! But in the meantime has anyone had a similar experience with a similar timeframe?

Applied on November 29 through an outreach program. Paid cash for everything, (fingerprints, photo, drs. Fee, application fee) nothing through email and no card yet

Dec. 1 - Paperwork Submitted
Feb. 16 - Check was cashed
Feb. 20 - Waiting...

Applied 11/27
Check cashed 2/8
Still waiting.

Hoping this week is my week. I’ll keep you all updated. Fingers crossed

UPDATE:
CARD in the mail today!

11/21 Mailed app (just b4 Thanksgiving).
11/27 App received by DPH.
11/29 Dr certification received by DPH.
2/20 Card received by me.

86 days from receipt of application.

Now off to go shopping!

UPDATE:
talked to the state today..
They told me that the Drs. Paperwork was received on 12-3 but they said the outreach program didn't send my application until the 29th of DECEMBER! A month after I did it and paid them ... So He told me I'm looking at 4 to 8 more weeks... How depressimg... BE WEARY OF THE OUTREACH CENTERS I think it's best if you send your paperwork yourself... Lesson learned...
