Anyone in southern IL?

Dude we've had thunderstorms for the last 3 nights in a row. And last night was the biggest one yet. We got 6 inches of rain. I heard we haven't had that much since '72. Our basement flooded for the first time since I can remember. First that 23" blizzard during the winter and now all this rain. Is it all just coincidence or could it be something more?

here I was doing rain dances the last week because I didn't want to hike water out to my site ---- didn't know that shit worked so good --- tooo f'in good. I have to go out tonight and make sure they didn't get flooded out. What a turn of events.

Christ looks like we're going to get another thunderstorm tonight. Please don't tell me the basement's going to flood again.
