If you're looking for a trust worthy company most people are going to tell you to buy Area 51 and they'd be right to do so. No one else is as transparent about what components they use or how you can expect it to preform. No one else offers a lifetime warranty or an upgrade program.

Hi LED experts. I'm going to attempt to make my own feminized seeds. So I'm going to isolate one plant in a separate cab. It's going to be a really small cab 16"x16" by 4' high. I'm looking to get a small LED (inexpensive) in there that will be just enough to flower the plant. Do you think one of the "UFO 150"'s would work? Keep in mind, I'm not trying to grow quality or a large quantity of bud, just need to make some beans.

You're making your own seeds, good for you, sir.
If you're just looking for something cheap to get pollen on, that you won't care about, something like that would "theoretically" work.
Be warned though, the problems with cheap LED lights are they don't last long, and can yield poorly.
I wish I could recommend something, but since I can't, I'll wish you good luck.

I think a single Kessil unit would suit you nicely.

Just looking to do it on the cheap and a small run for seed . Yah, you can do it.
I use clones, once rooted send to flower. Spray CS 2 weeks in advance to cause the female clone to make the pollen sacks.
Then add in the female clones to flower that are to be pollinated.
I do this with 1 cheap Chinese 50w Mini UfO LED. Works for me.

Hello everyone :D Just throwing my two cents in.. I used to use cfl's but built my own led lights cause i was tight for space height wise... you can place the led diodes that lay on a flat aluminum heatsink id say two inches at most in height just keep the power supply away from the heatsink :cool:

Hello there LED peepz. I'm planning to do a 12 feet x 15 feet room. I am looking for the light that will cover the most area and has the strongest lumens. I'm willing to pay up to 8gs. Any suggestions? I've looked at dormgrow's led lights but have heard mixed reviews.

I'd do a bit more research before spending any money as you seem confused on some core concepts. IE, lumens don't matter at all for growing plants.

I'm looking for a really small LED setup for 2'x2'x2' box. I just want a lil flowering box, I usually put the babies outside to flower but I'd love to play with a cheap LED flower box.

Just don't have indoor room, and I'm going with something like Cree bulbs or LED strips, no kessil or anything silly. It's a 2' square

hmmmmmm strange that he doesn't show the backside?....I hope he didn't keep the cooling system the same, that little fan and no heatsink fins are not gonna cut it IMO.

Hans trolling me saying it was gonna be 130-150w bigger panel!........lol, Bastard thinks he's funny;-) That's why I don't even post the shit he tells me anymore....
