On the news they were at Miami Beach, with all those tall white apartment buildings right on
the beach and there was a bunch of huge,tall cranes on the side of the buildings for repairs.
It takes weeks to disassemble those, so they just left them.
They said the crane's can withstand 130 mph winds but this hurricane is like 150mph at sea level.
Even faster 30 stories up!
But theres people in Key West staying.. on boats! crazy

Agree whole heartedly!!
Altho I can remember years ago following hurricanes & trop storms on ships so we'd be on scene should the need arise, and it did on a couple of occasions.

Sucks man, hope everything works out for them. It's been raining here all day, the worst is yet to come. Luckily for us the eye is projected about 150miles west but with winds 200+ Miles out from the eye those will reach us. Rain up to 15in and storm surge 3-5ft. Forecasted.
