If u leave plants outside over the winter do they grow back in the spring??????

Hey just a quick question...i am growing outside and i will not be saving my plants for next year....and my buddy told me that if left out over the winter he said that they would grow back in the spring and that i wouldnt have to plant new ones, i think he is full of shit....but does anyone know the real answer to this one???

Pot is an annual plant, meaning that you have to re-plant every year.

Yes, that man said a true, because, last summer i didnt save those nuts from my male plants, but next summer i got 25 new plants, but i only hawe 3 plants before those "HOT" months

no.. the original plant will not pop back up. your plant MIGHT become a hermie if you let it bud too long and it will seed itself up for next year's growing season.

you could try cloning those plants you want to keep, and continue cloning until the time is right to plant the new clones

I had a UK Cheese strain last year that grew to about 6 feet. After harvest, I clipped off and shaped the plant, covered with a heavy black plastic garbage bag that was staked to the ground allowing no light. About May 1st, I uncovered and allowed to have sun - if came back ! Ended up with 3/4 lb. Its bagged again and sittin ready for next season. So I'm a retard - with almost a pound of smoke !

We have sunflowers in our garden and they are annuals, they die and go back into the ground with all the seeds in tact and they always sprout back up the next year. So it's a yes/no answer. Your friend might have thought the same way, but you would be better off to collect the seeds yourself then plant them where ever you want to next year.
