If you plan on doing lst. Veg your plant, so you can get some growth to tie down, the whole point of lst is to create more tops (bud sites)

Sure you can flower now and tie it down, but just veg 18/6 and tie it down when the growth gets larger. Flower when your plant is tied down.

You can flower whenever you want, but flowering a seedling like that is kinda pointless, give it at least another 2 weeks to have a yeild worth growing...

it would not flower, it will only flower when its ready, u can switch, but it will take at least 2 more weeks before it starts showing

He wants to LST. Yes you can flower from seed, but wait a while. Like stated above. LST requires a longer vegging time, to create more bud sites. Flowering at this point would be pointless if he wanted to LST.

LST is a great way to maximize yield and to control the height of your plant for your grow space. :)

Once they get some alternating nodes, you can begin to train your plants. It all depends how drastic you get. LST, although generally not that stressful does cause some fluid and hormone shifts within plants, do just take it easy.

ok thanks.. does the plants growth speed up once a few leaves have formed? due to more photosynthesis? just a query

It really isn't the leaves that generate fast growth. Your plant is establishing it's root system right now. Once the roots are developed enough, that is when your plant will grow.... You can have a million leaves, but if the roots arn't getting the nutrients to them, then photosynthesis cannot occur. The roots are like the delivery truck, the leaves like the factory, and the buds like the store....

lol putting a seedling into flowering is almost pointless, you will only get a small bit of bud on it, keep it in veg for at least another few weeks, then switch over. :bigjoint:
