If lowryders mature in 8 weeks how long from seed to flower?

I thought lowryders grow from seed to harvest in about 8 weeks. I now realise it means 8 weeks from when it starts to flower. How long would it take for a seed to grow to flowering stage? In short what would be the approx time for a lowryder to go from seed to harvest??

Well that depends on how you're lighting it.

If you're on 18/6 and want the plant to grow a bit before flowering and get a decent yield you could be looking at 12-16 weeks.

If you went 12/12 straight from seed you could probably harvest in 10 weeks, with very small yields.

lowryder is auto flowering so theres only afew days of veg and then it will automatically start to flower regardless of light hours. 18/6 all the way through from seed to finish is typically 8 weeks

Lowryders should show sex after 3 weeks or even before, once u now the sex it is in flower stage. the older original lowryder took like 12 weeks like 9-10 of flowering time, alot of new lowryder hybrids like bluestreak/blueryder and dieselryder flower in like 6-7 weeks so around 9-10 weeks finish time, you can control ur lights to change it a bit maybe but the whole autoflowerness of these strains means that they flower by age not by light situation although difference in lighting will def change your yield.

Looks like u know a bit about Lowryders, u grown them before ??
What technique you recomend for someone who never grew them before.

I'm using LR2 and I have not had one really ready in 9 weeks. It always seems to need at least 10 to 12 weeks (in my perpetual grow under a 150 hps) just by watching the trics waiting for 1/2 amber.

iv messed around with the original lowryder not to long ago and right now have just started some blue streak by mdanzig, i readup up on lowryder and LRhybrids as much as i can. new lowryder stuff will give u more yield than what iv grown of them in the past. iv seen grow journals of lowryders do well in anything, i think the biggest yields have came through some sort of hydro setup, but i like growing them outside. they are fun to watch grow but dont think your going to get crazy amounts of weed off of them.

probly alot but id say as many as the pots ur using will allow u to in that given space
you think 16 plants would be too crouded ?? and with a 1000k i would get a decent yield ??? My last grow was a disaster, one plant hermied, I didn't pay much attention to notice in time, all the other 5 plants hermied. Had no mothers or clones, only the 5 4ft tall plants.
So now I starting fresh again, but while the gurls veg to take clones, I'm trying to have fun with these Lowryders.

I grow lowryders and i let mine go up to 80 to 85 days because they can't be cloned and since cloning is not an option i have to get viable seeds. but if your not looking to get seeds they can be ready in i would say 60 days from seed to flower. :peace: :leaf:

I ordered Lowrider 2 seeds. I grew them in a mix of ocean forest and lightwarrior. For some reason I fed them 2 veg teas. They loved them. At day 40 they showed sex. It is like alomst 2 months now and i got a few hairs and nothing more. They are over 3 feet tall. I hate the, lol. THey were just supposed to grow and finish while I vegged my trees. Trees gonna finish first. waste of 70 bucks for me. I dont know how much is my fault. I have been feeding them lots of P for weeks. Still nothing. Nice big fans though.

So it takes longer to grow for seeds? Do the seeds drop naturally or do you have to harvest them?

some seeds may drop naturally, after a while the seeds will look like there about to bust out in that case iv removed seeds from the plant while its still growing and left the other seeds on there to mature some more.

I've been growing Lowryder 2's consistantly for about a year and a half and the longest I've had one go for is 73 days from seed. They are usually done in 60-65 days though. Mine have always shown sex by 23 days from seed at most. I use Bio Bizz All Mix soil, Earth Juice nutrients, T-5s for the first 3 weeks and then 250 watt hps(just got 2 400's though), 9.5 X 9.5 square pots (which are a little over 2.5 gallons).

What size pots or grow bags or whatever container do you plan on using?
