OK! i have some pests in my garden. i know for a fact that they came from a plant i was growing outside that i brought inside. ive had these pests since day f'n 1!! at first i was led to believe they were spider mites. but after several weeks, if not months, i still have not seen a single web. a few weeks ago istarted to think they were thripes. i got some shit for thripes, like this blue piece or card stock you unfold and theres is this goo on the inside. supposedly they are attracted to blue. well, now im starting to think they are not thripes. there is 2 different kinds of pest in my garden. theres the thripe/spider mite wanna be looking things and then there is these like little itty bitty white slug/worm type of things. i have tried soapy water. it seemed to work. but the first few applications i did not keep up on it. and the problem did not decrease or increase. they ARE doing damage to my plants. the leafs are starting to look like shit!! at first i thought i had some deficiencies, and i did. but now i have the def. in check and my plants although look about 90% healthy, have some leafs that look real bad. i will continue with the soapy spray, but i read somewhere about a stronger more efficient spray. a cayenne pepper spray, or a mixture of apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, lemon juice and some other stuff. cant find that thread anymore though. any help will be highly appreciated!!!:leaf:

ill try and get one soon. i heard about that tobacco one somewhere before. you have the recipe off hand? i do not smoke. but ill go buy some damn tobacco. i hate supporting them fucks!! how safe is the 50/50 water and rubbing alcohol working for you? the soapy water solution seemed to be okay the first few times. i just got lazy. i should have kept on it. someone also told me lay tin foil on the soil so the eggs do not land in it. that seems like it would work, except for if you are not careful removing the foil, you may just be throwing them back into the soil when removing the foil. i have to do something very soon!! im in 2nd week of flower, so i do not want to add to much shit that may harm the plant and or flowers. also, im trying to find an organic as possible solution, and something that wont cost me much funds. this is starting to become a headache. my mentor told me to buy lady bugs. they come in packs of 300. i do not need 300 lady bugs, i hope!!!

this is what a thrip looks like. this one does not fly, although some varieties of thrips can. check the under sides of your leaves. the juvenile thrips are white with the same shape. mites are usually round, and can be red, white, or black....i think. if you try lady bugs, you'll need more than 300 depending on the thrips population. i ordered 1500 for a small infestation and i still have em, both thrips and lb's. try montrey with spinosad. it's cheap ($10-15) and readily available.

Spend 10 bucks on a no pest strip! take it out as soon as you can... don't hang it next to a budding plant.

well, i can try, but my camera does not capture anatomies that small. i tried, they showed up blurry. the pests do. i have thripe traps set up on each end of my veg area and i only see a few gnats on there. which that shit pisses me off too!! someone told me to water everyday. (medium is coco), and now they have started to come back. same person also told me i could not get gnats in coco. i call bullshit on that one!!

the way prepare my tobacco juice is; 2 swisher gutted, put everything into 1 gallon of water and mix well. let it sit for 24hrs then water your plant with it. make sure to pour it in slowly so the soil really absorbs it.

Bro it is spidermite. Red and black and you cant get rid of them. They dont produce webs untill out of control. Get some mitacide (mighty wash etc)and treat the plants and surrounding area and pathways, repeat a week later. Vacuum daily for a week or 2 and discard in outside bin. Its prob a few gnats flying around too.
