Veg inside, put outside next season, I will put them out when the weather gets betterinside or out?
Yep...sounds like a Mother to me too.its called a mother plant
nope, in fact, i think the opposite might hold true as i have read more then one breeder suggesting that people veg their seeds for x amount of days before inducing flowering to bring out all the flavor and potency potential in the genetics..Well I wanted to avoid the term "mother plant" and I do not know why...I just wanted to know I guess if putting a mother plant outdoors, and budding her out would have any negative effects like...potency, bud size, uhmm... idk anything...
yah, i'm usually never in any kind of rush to get bud, so i always like to veg till i see one of two things, if not both.. one being alternating nodes.. this is usually a pretty good indication that the plants are getting older and are reaching sexual maturity and therefore are ready to be flowered..I couldn't agree more... I believe a longer veg time makes harvest so much sweeter, for many reasons, incl. the ones racerboy describes, and also in yield(outdoors or in, depending on size of space). If time is not an issue with your grow, and you aren't running an "assembly line" style grow like most of us do, harvesting every 3-4 months, then by all means let it veg for five months man...
In all I harvest once a year I am generally an outdoor grower. I wanted to try out a couple of experiments indoor and save some strains for next season. I posted another thread asking what light to use and got nothing but shit lolI couldn't agree more...
