If I use a 250watt or 400watt light, what size tent do I need?

I wanna grow 2 plants scrog style. I will use a 250watt or 400watt hps/mh light. What size tent do I need?

Where will the tent be ? Bigger is better? 72" tall starts at 3' x 3' I think, below that is only 60" tall. Mine is 32" x 32".

I use a 250w cfl, max. So, to use 400w HID, you would use a cool tube and cool the light as a separate exhaust/input.

Then, I would use a 3'x4' tent, to give plenty of volume. And I would use a 6" exhaust axial fan, 400 cfm, on the tent. Can't have too much cooling air flow in that tent, but get a speed control to dial it in.

I use spreader bars inside to keep big suction from pulling in the walls.

Outside, I made a box shape cutouts of mylar bubble warp panels and taped them together, to not get heat on the black cloth.

3x3. A 400's footprint is gonna be perfect for that. If your gettin a 250 you might as well fork out the dough for a 400. You'll thank yourself later. Happy growing

A 400w is over 2x the heat of a 250w. Bigger is better. Watts and tent.

400W in a 4x4 would be best IMHO

i used my 400 in a 3x3 with an open hood no problems temp wise but when i got the 4x4 tent i went with a 600 cooltube.

Well, there you go. I knew the heat load point was somewhere.

I wanna scrof just 2 plants. Someone tell me what size tent i need and what size light. Do i need a 24x24x60 tent? Do i need a 48x24x60 tent. Do i just need a small 250watt light for 2 plants or a 400watt. I know i am going to use a hps light. I wanna scrog just 2 plants.
