You need to measure the pH of your runoff too
If it is higher than the water that went in than water with a lower pH next time and vice versa

Is it as simple as that? As long as i keep everything the goes in properly ph'd ill be ok?
No. Soil is different than hydro or soilless. The soils pH should ideally be good before you plant. You can add things like gypsum and various sulphur compounds to lower soils ph. Dolomite lime or hydrated lime to raise and help stabilize your pH. You want your water and feed solutions to ideally be between 6.5-7.0. As time goes by and salts from fertilizer build up the soils pH naturally drops a little. :leaf:

Thanks. I should mention that i grow in soilless pro mix bx.

So youre saying that if i want my soil at 6.4 and i water at 6.4 but the runoff comes out at 5.8 then i should water using 7.0 the next time? Or immediately?
