If anything good can be said of Congress....

He's gone from trying to defend the lies he gets caught in to angrily lashing out, and creating new lies. It's kinda comical, I'm at the point where I can't believe anything he posts.

I really wanna know if his supposed salary if $35 an hour is earned at his non profiting business or as someone's employee. Oh wait, he probably gets that from the CIA, he's on a secret mission man, real hush hush type of stuff.
Supposed salary? I own the business... Everything I have said is true. It is your assumptions that are causing you to believe that somehow I have lied.

And I said *AT LEAST* 35.00 per hour. It ranges from about 35 to over 100 when I get into repairs...

You say you own a profitable business. Did it just spring up from nowhere on day 1 owing taxes to the government? Did you not have any expenses, capital investment, etc to deduct from your income? You say you own a business but act like someone from occupy wallstreet.

More lies, from your post earlier:
" Due to Obamacare and all the rampant regulation out there I dont want to hire any employees. ."

Your point about not wanting to prosper because of government waste is laughable. So you don't want better for your family due to your opposition to our government that's real noble of you, or like in other cases in this very thread..

You're full of shit
I never said I didnt want to prosper. I said I dont want to make a pile of wealth for the government to confiscate. You seem confused about the difference between the two.

like the part about you paying taxes but also not paying taxes?

or the part where you are concerned about obamacare affecting your business and aware that obamacare won't affect your business?

feel free to switch out "mowing lawns and raking leaves" with "trimming bougainvillea bushes and raking landscape stones".

So you earn upwards of $100 an hour, yet you haven't turned a profit in 2 years? WTF?

My first business was sold earlier in the year. My current business is as a caregiver, so most traditional business models don't apply to it. I can't take deductions on this business, luckily it's a cash business :)

I opened my first business with $ I saved while in the Corps. and with some private financing from a heroin dealer. The banks wouldn't touch a tattoo business back then. Make no mistake kiddo, ive worked very hard and earned everything the hard way. You say I sound like an occupy person, I'm not. But I suppose I'd rather be called that than a pathologically lying Teabagger

i dont believe a thing NSLX1 says, he contradicts himself post to post and threat to thread, jumping on political trend bandwagons and making "political pedo bait" threads

seems more like some attention seeking behavior or hes a avid glen beck listener

If I get a contract from which I garner $10,000, I will most certainly not turn it down because the big bad old government leaves me with $7,000 and sends the other $3,000 to undeserving. In fact I will not turn the contract down untill and unless I make less than (gee, there is that number) about $35 an hour. I don't see how anyone can say they "rake in" $35 an hour, but everyone has a different idea of what they are worth.

There is considerable outcry that those out of work will not "get up off their asses" in order to earn minimum wage, and yet you seem to be saying that you won't get up off of yours unless you can be assured that no one else will see even a nickle of "your" money. Forgive me if I can't see the difference.

I am going to cut you some slack since apparently you havent been paying attention. UB will confirm or deny my situation depending on his particular pathological bent at the time of posting.

I started a business in February of last year. It is a service and repair business. I started small and worked hard and slowly built it last year. This year in the last 6 months it has exploded and I am closing on being maxed out in terms of labor I want to do on a daily basis.

So no, I didnt pay taxes last year and no, I havent paid taxes on this year yet. You dont have to pay estimated taxes until you have a profit track record. So, I will be paying taxes for the year 2012 when they are filed. And today I worked about 7 hours and will be billing out over 262.50. That works out to about 37.50 per hour worked.
Today was a slow day however. One day last week I billed out over $500.00 in labor on repairs.

I opened my first business on money I scraped together working a 9-5 job and didnt rely upon anyone else, even drug dealers. You definitely sound like an occupy person, a real Obama supporter. You would proudly step up and say a drug dealer helped you build your business, obviously you couldnt do it on your own. LOL!

What difference does the source of a $10000 investment make? The smack dealer was a lifelong friend, hell his rate was less than the banks would have been anyways. Most of the people I grew up with sold drugs, stole cars and were involved with gangs. Its not something I'm either ashamed of or proud of. It is what it is. The bottom line is that I grew up in poverty, went into the service, went to school and opened my own business. I'm lucky, I've worked hard and now I live on the coast in an absolute opposite environment. I understand that hard work can pay off, that's right CAN. I was lucky and had an opportunity and seized that one opportunity. Some never get it, some never see it when it appears.

Using your reasoning anyone that's received an SBA loan or any other loan to help fund a startup didn't do it on there own. Lemme clue you in young man, thats how most business start; and pretty much an integral part of our economy.

what do you have against drug dealers? do you mean the drug dealers at the store who give you fancy pills in a bottle? or like the ones who meet you in the albertsons parking lot in their 88 toyota corrolla with a bag of green goodness?

they all seem like good enough folks to me.

What relevance was it to the story? He seemed proud of it...

He could have said... I got 10K from my friend. However, he seems to view his friend as a drug dealer more than a friend since he identifies him as such...

his friend a dealer is how he put it, dealer is not his identity, the person identity in context to the story was his friend . . . ..

can we stop focusing on how much you hate drug dealers and get back on to the many contradictions in your tall tales?

zimmerman has more credibility than you.

If you continued to read what i wrote you would have read that I'm neither ashamed or proud of my background as a young man.

The reason i mentioned my friend actually has a context. I was poor and needed more than what I had saved to buy the building and open the shop. I couldn't get a business loan, the only people I knew with real $ were my friends that were "in the game."

Funny, my friend had better business sense than the bankers. I sold the proprty and business for a nice profit. No more 80 hour work weeks :)

See, if you were right I might be pissed off... But I am LOL'ing right now because well, you are dead wrong and I have not said one thing that is a lie.

Just because you cannot get beyond some pissy commission job selling sports equipment does not mean that others are like you.

Before I say anything...

Nlxsk1,

Are you supporting yourself, or you on the dole while you refuse jobs and are one of those who don't "get up off their asses, " as Canndo put it?

I filed for unemployment once in my life in my 20's. However, I had a job so quickly I did not even qualify for the first check.

I have supported myself for my entire life without relying upon the government dole.

So no, I dont qualify as one of the people that Cannado is referring to.
