I am willing to build rooms in google sketch up for people based on their specifications, I get bored and enjoy helping the cause! Just message me or whatever, I'm new to the page so get me involved!!!!!!!!!!:blsmoke::roll:bongsmilie:eyesmoke::bigjoint:
 
I'm looking to build a grow box that is 3x2x4 in my closet. I have a hole underneith my closet floor so I planned on using that hole to vent the odor to. Iif u could give me a design that resembles that I would GLADLEY appreciate it thnx :)

I dont know about venting down though..... You need a good fan to do tht..... I would say build a cheap carbon filter.... It's fairly easy and cheap, plus you can look up how to do it on this website! :blsmoke:
I'll start something for you though! I'll prolly have it done tomorrow.
 
alredddddy man!!! And I already know how to build that panty hose filter so i ll just use that then. And thnx again for the build spec
 
Actually, I think this is the best I can do for you..... It's almost to your dimensions, but I built it based on the size of the smallest plastic bin that can work as a flood and drain system....

using soil would work fine, in fact it would save space because you wouldn't need a res. you would just need something to set under the plant medium to catch water drainage or whatnot.... I know nothing about growing in soil.... lol
 
It depends 100_1317.jpgwhat kind of light you are going to use ? cfl's or T5 ,or HPS if you choose HPS a box that size of even larger will need cold air pumping into 100_1313.jpgit Temp WILL get to high Here is my grow cabinet i am using T% light ing on this grow with fresh air only being pumped in from outside Temp are 100_1314.jpgright around 76 in box but outside temp is only in the 60"s right now the box has A/C if needed .AND 2 pictures of the girls 10 days into flower100_1315.jpg

I was wondering if u could help with this idea. i was planning on running 8 1k watt air cooled HPS lights. 2 rows of 4. i plan on using a 4ton central AC unit, co2 gen. & monitor large Dehumidifer, sulfur burner , lots of fans , scrubber. Pretty much all bells and whistles :)

My air handler sits in the attic right now above the grow room . i was planning on ducting and venting everything. ! ive got my pannel in and one side of the wall built. Any advise or input would be greatly appreciated !!!!

Wow, growing in a big boy room lol.... Awesome... Is this a tree grow or how many plants are you trying to do? What kind of plant medium or hydro system are you gonna run? Where is the exaust flowing too? If you give me the room dimensions and other specs I'll build you somethin nice....
 
yeah man trying to go big boi !! The room is 16x20 . i was planning on just growing like 6 monsters under each xxxl magnum hood . im going to use roots organic soil as a medium in 3 gal (air pots) . I was planning on using a vent in picture 7(1st set of pics i sent you) to cool 1 row of 4 lights and another vent (at other corner of the garage to cool the other 4 lights ) so two rows of 4 parallel to each other keeping the ducting straight as possible. I was thinking about venting the lights up in the attic. There are already vents for the attic itself, was thinking about replacing the standard vents with bigger vents that can handle more exhaust. these 3 pics are above the grow room in the attic. If you need anymore specs let me know !! i'm sure i'm leaving a few things out, my mind is in a million diferent places right now !!

Here's how I would set it up........... I didnt know if you wanted your water res in the grow room or where you would mount the intake fans but I can add that later! Hope ya like so far.....

This is dimensioned almost exact too....

Hi all i am about to build my first Grow room, I am using this closet "See Pictures Below" I am gonna Do the clones on top shelf, and Grow plants on bottom. I am gonna line the walls with Panda Film, as well as shelf and insides of folding door. The dimensions are 2' wide by
5 1/2' Long and 5' high for the bottom part where plants will grow for the clones its 2' wide by 5 1/2' long and 3' tall. What wattage Lights should i go with how many, How many plants can i fit nicely, and do i need to worry about venting since its a empty room i had built on. I figured the room is 10' by 10' and i would need a ton of lights, but let me know what you think for the closet and lights etc. I appreciate all the help i can get. Ty All

i have a similiar closet setup for my veg. I have a shelf up top with shop lights for DWC cloner and the bottom portion i have a 250w HPS for veg. It would be difficult to have veg up top and flower below IMO and if u have the room (which it sounds like you do) go with cloner on top 2 feet or so, and a 250-400w hps or MH for veg on bottom of closet, then in the room, build a poly film/wood frame flower box. You do not need ventalation for temps on a 250w hps in a closet.. Just a good size wall fan blowing on it will keep your temps at 78
 
Dank..can you hook me up with some plans like that? I am going to build a frame with 2x4's that is 5' wide, 7' long, 6' tall. I will then put up drywall and cover it. This will be the flowering chamber. Growing with soil for now..that may change.
