if and when do I need to flush?

ive been reading people talking about flushing your plants, I do not really know what this means or how to go about doing it?

Towards the end when they close to ready I use only water, say the last 10 days or so, it lets my plants use up the nitrogen stored in the leaves and they yellow and die. I think of this as flushing, maybe this isnt what others consider it, but thats all I do.

You need to flush especially if you use stronger chemical fertilizers as they will be present in the plants foliage and buds if you used it up to 2 weeks before you chop and it will in term make your grass taste terrible and burn poorly, making your entire grow worthless. You can use natural ferts like fish oil and molasses to flush besides pure water to make your weed have different tastes and burning properties.
