Ideas welcome for view window

I am trying to make my grow tent more stealthy for any unwanted visitors that would try to be peeking around. I have everything set up except the fact that the tent has an ez view window. The way the window works is that is is velcro and you peel off the velcro'd flap and you can see in. My only though of how to get around this and still have access to the window is to get some mylar and velcro it in from the inside so that way when i know someone is coming over, I can attach the mylar and they cant see in even if they try to open it. Does anyone have any better suggestions?

Easiest done.. add more velcro to the inside of the window, with a piece of panda film or other solid black plastic... covers the peek from the outside. Buy a 35mm camera, and explain that it's your dark room.. and you're in the middle of manually developing pictures - and to not open it under any circumstances. Any exhaust out the side is to control chemical fumes that can be toxic to humans in high concentrations, if any ask. :D

None of my friends would look in, but we are selling our house and you never know who is going to come in and check things out. Very risky but i trust everything is set up well enough. I like that idea about the dark room. Currently i am saying it houses plants and insects because I have some animals so i was thinking about saying that it is my micro environment to breed feeder insects.

That works too, if you can keep it greenhouse smell.. most who have never hand-developed pictures wouldn't have a clue as to what it's supposed to smell like, so you could get away with a few scents that could leak potentially.. as long as it didn't smell like a pineapple mango cocktail exploded in your face.

Best way is to shut down shop until you know it's all clear most people when they see a grow tent will just assume it's weed regardless of what you say is in there to. I would say it's not worth the risk for a couple of plants
