Idea for Closet Grow System

Below is my idea for a closet system that I want to build that I think would be easy and inexpensive. I am a 2nd time grower, but still looking for advice, tips, and help. Take a look at my system, tell me what you think, and even offer up some ideas on how you would run it. I know others out there are having the same questions as me so hopefully this will help all. Thanks

why not just tilt the pvc pipes a little and let it run back into the res? and just pump it back up to the top, seems like less work, you could put it on like a 2 degree angle and the water would run amazingly. This is just NFT right? I don't do much hydro just offering a suggestion ;)

That is the plan, to have a slight incline so the water flows smoothly. Yes, this is your basic NFT system

no, you miss my point, instead of using tubing which is going to rescrit water flow and is just generally unnessecary, you could just uncap one end and put the rez under it so the water just falls freely into the tub aerating it etc, then you just have a nice water pump pushing water to the top. Does that make more sense?

yeah it does, but with the way it will be set up in the closet, i can not directly stick the res under one end of the pvc pipe

Np, One thing i would say then is just make sure to have a good diameter downspout so you don't constrict water flow, gl with your grow :blsmoke: :peace:
