Hey guys can I use a ice box as a heat extractor like the one offered at bestcoastgrowers?

I dont see the difference in the technology just where whether u pump in hot water or pump in cold water
do u think if I have a 2 1k watt systems I could get by using 3 ice boxes 2 normally and 1 as a heat extractor like mentioned above on a 1/3 hp chiller?
