To Montego Bay Jamaica. I didn't actually win it. It's a work trip from a distributor that we earned from buying x amount of products . But none of the bosses wanted to go. So I asked if I could go and they said sure. Pretty pumped. Any tips?
Don't drink the water? It depends is this solo or family?

Edited to add: Make sure you aren't being impressed into a work crew for belated disaster repair!

I'm going with my mom. She's the one who actually does the buying. She's been to Jamaica a bunch of times though. I've never been.

Is it on a resort? I wouldn't go to Jamaica if it wasn't. If you're not leaving for at least a month I would get the trinrix vaccine. You don't need a prescription.
Yeah it's a Hilton all inclusive. It's early December. I'll have to check that out.

The resorts are a blast. I've never been to Jamaica, not really on my bucket list. I've been to Dominican and Mexican resorts. Treat the staff like people, tip well (maids $2 per day give it to them directly don't leave it in the room. Servers and bartenders $1 per round) and they will get you almost anything you want. The day excursions are expensive and really about selling overpriced trinkets and souvenirs.

Don't wear your silver shoes.

Well dressed woman lol.

@Laughing Grass made a good suggestion you should have the Twinrix vaccine anyway. I second that motion.
Twinrix probably works better than trinrix :) Last time I went to Greece they had a minor tb outbreak, I overreacted and got the bcg vaccine... I'm good for another 11 years.

Becky, did you get your hair braided at the resort?

When you touch down, ask for Jorge the 'towel man'. Tell him Tangerinegreen sent you.

He'll fix you up with the finer cuisine and other things.

And the famous jelly coconuts.

And island water is perfectly fine if they brought it in from Fiji.

Maybe charter a fishing boat for an afternoon, Lucky Bastard never gets skunked.

The best punch ever served from a roadside bar where dude was boiling sugar cane syrup over a wood fire and mixing w rum and fruit juice, over just enough ice, mind bendingly fantastic and never forgotten
