Hey Uncle Buck. Sherwin Williams sells an exterior/ interior paint called Duration. It's a paint and primer in one. It's about 50 bucks a gallon but, it's great stuff. Way better than Behr. Time is money so you save only having to do one coat. You can paint wood, sheetrock, plastic, cement.. It's the shit! Give it a try next time.

its not a one coat product, even though they sell it as that. i use a shit ton of sherwin products. nothing ever covers in one. drywall patches have to be sanded and hit with a flat paint, then hit once with the duration, then the whole room gets rolled out. if you try to use it as advertised, you'll see dull spots everywhere there is a patch.

there is no such thing as these "one coat" products working, its just a gimmick to get homeowners to buy $60/gallon paint.

smoke and mirrors.
