yes but i only veged with a 40w tube and my plants were pretty big (not streched) you could easerly get a red CFLbut a 600 HPS is prostuff man.

I wouldn't call a 600-watt HID light pro stuff. I would just call it quality lighting. Now if someone had multiple 1000-watt lights with light movers, too me that would be getting near to being pro stuff.
A 600-watt HID light is a great choice. It is the most efficient of all the HID lighting choices but for the way most people grow they can purchase a quality made digital ballast 400-watt HID light and with a little skill and better than average to top genetics do damn well.

well its prostuff to me. if i combine all my lights i have about 200 W and im hopin it will do for a first time grow. im happy if i get 5 grams out of my two plants under the circumstances

of course my horse. but at least it will be 5 grams made by my own hand. that alone makes a nappy head happy man
