I used to love her...but I had to kill her

I always feel a sense of dread and anticipation when I know I have to chop. I've raised my ladies from seeds and babied the shit out of them for months. Now to the next phase...

Does ANYONE else have a problem killing their plants at harvest time? Of course, I am tickled to be at harvest, don't get me wrong. But I feel kinda sad; I have been loving and caring for these girls since they were still seeds. Now I'm approaching each one, knife and scissors in hand to cut her down...it's silly, I know. But I'd love to hear how other growers feel about this. :-P
Man, I just had my first harvest. It was hard at first, not wanting to hurt it. You have to get yourself into harvest mode and know it's for a good cause...me getting blazed haha.

Now that trimming is over I kind of miss it. The smells and the look of your bud being shaped is amazing. Good thing I have another auto on deck :).

I was more than happy to finally cut my plants but Im sad I cant do it to this scale until next year. But thts wut indoors for!

I couldn't even sleep the night before my last harvest. It always puts a big smile on my face and well its the cycle of life, the plant either produces seeds or flower's and dies, its nature I am just glad to reap its benefits.
