I always feel a sense of dread and anticipation when I know I have to chop. I've raised my ladies from seeds and babied the shit out of them for months. Now to the next phase...

Man, I just had my first harvest. It was hard at first, not wanting to hurt it. You have to get yourself into harvest mode and know it's for a good cause...me getting blazed haha.Does ANYONE else have a problem killing their plants at harvest time? Of course, I am tickled to be at harvest, don't get me wrong. But I feel kinda sad; I have been loving and caring for these girls since they were still seeds. Now I'm approaching each one, knife and scissors in hand to cut her down...it's silly, I know. But I'd love to hear how other growers feel about this.

I'm thinking I will chase those plant-killin blues away with some medicine. I'm sure i'll feel better then.

imo its even worse if your crop doesn't make it to harvest(for what ever reason), happened a few times when i first started[/QUOTE

I couldn't even sleep the night before my last harvest. It always puts a big smile on my face and well its the cycle of life, the plant either produces seeds or flower's and dies, its nature I am just glad to reap its benefits.
