i soaked two seeds in water for 48 hours until the tap root popped out and then moved them to a paper towel and then put them in a air tight tub then placed that on a towel on top of my propragater and then covered with the other half of the towel the next day i went to check on them but no change did the heat cook them. i thought if it roots clones it should be ok for germing seeds

Dude, please tell me you are kidding! Your paragraph sounded great until I read past the first half of your first sentance. You have over 300 posts and I have less than 200. :wall:

1. Scuff seed
2. Put into water or wet towel (or just plant the fucker)
3. After popping, plant seed root down in your medium

Either way that wasn't necessary once the tap root starts to come out it wants to be touched/moved as little as possible, so straight to the medium..
Every seed is different, it could take a few days+ form start of germination to this\/

But when you use the soak in water method you want to plant the seed once it looks like this...\/

wow its hard to even find a post with that idiot spamming the room with his shitty football site , but anyhow , dont bother with the soaking in water bit or the scuffing (ive never done either ever ), just simply take about 3 sheets of paper towel , fold them up into a smaller square , then give it a good soaking , place the seeds on top , fold the towel over so they are coverd and put in a zippy bag or any other container you can find , place the container somewhere warm and dark and within 2 days they will be completely ready for planting ( i also check them often to make sure the towel hasn't dried out to much, ive had it happen, depending on where you put them)

How many seeds are wasted I wonder because people can't figure out just to put em in dirt.

I soak a rock wool cube in PH'd water for a couple hours then insert the seed. I then put the rock wool cube, including seed, in a small disposable black plastic planter with Plagron Grow dirt. I just slightly cover the hole in the top of the rock wool cube with the Plagron. I water it and sit it in my south side facing window ledge. A couple days later I have a healthy seedling. No stress, no mess, no bullshit. It works every time and literally takes 3 minutes after soaking the rock wool cube.
