Can you still grow buds from your plant with minimal CFL light? I ask this becuase its my 4th week and have recently discovred that the bulbs im using are only 10w i repeat 10WATTS and they seem to be very healthy for there age :S im using two of these shitty bulbs and im growing two plants i was told that i would be lucky for my plants to grow 3 inches tall

I think it is streching to the light. at some point the stem may be to weak to support itself and then it may start to damper off at the stem base, so keep an eye on it.

You may want to upgrade your bulb,. you say its a 10wt cfl, what kind? cool or soft. If your running a cool, then your in the right spectrum, most peep like 6500k, if you have soft, switch over. You'll want soft for flowering.

they look like they are stretching quite a bit. do you have a fan in there?

you will need to get your lights closer to cut down on the stretching.

if you want a better yield you should also try low stressing her down.

low stress training in a nut shell is tieing/staking down the plant. this allows for all the undergrowth to reach for the sky and get the most amount of light possible to the whole plant.

check out the FAQ above on the right. lots of helpful knowledge.

more light + more airflow = more yields

doubt it. but you never know. cfls are mad cheap bro. you can get a box of 26watters for like 8 bucks at lowes.

A cool bulb will have a blueish hue while soft will have a yellowish hue. Its OK if you combine them, just use more of the cools while vegging.
How much do CFL bulbs cost in the UK?

haha sounds like you're in Washington? thats where I was stationed, seemed like the bastard sun never came out. lol

but yeah I started off like you, with 1 16 watt CFL flood light and sprouted and grew 5 plants for 1 week with just that, then added one more 24 inch 17 watt "grow lamp". They all seem to be doing really good up to this point.
I just recently switched mine though, now im using 2 23 watt CFL's and the grow lamp, and growing 4 plants now, (moved one of them and planted it outside), but they still seem to be doing damn good.

post more picture, keep us updated.
