Straight out bud rot or botrytis...this shit can become systemic and spread throughout a plant...
Pull one of your buds and look inside... it works from the inside out.. doesn't look good too me!

You are correct scoure the interwebs you'll find heat stress the main culprit from fox tailing. The mold is from lack of proper air flow and high humidity.
