I think somethings eating my roots pls help!

G'day lately all my fan leaves have turned yellow then shriveled up,then last night 1 of my plants was bent over.So i looked in the rockwool near the root zone and there were little tiny tiny white-clearish looking flies crawling around and all my fibress roots are gone.How do i kill them and how do i make sure they stay gone,and will my plants recover from this in time.Thanks for any help +rep .
 
sounds like fungus gnats..........pyrethrum will work, but it is no way organic. GoGnats..its an organic cedar sap oil based product. Check those out

They are in the rockwool,do you just mix up a little and water them with it? thanks
 
well yes and no...pyrethrum come in all forms, get a fogger in aerosol..works awesome...GoGnats is a concentrate, so adding water would be necessary. Also works.
