I think my tap water sucks

Hard water will definitely cause problems. You could flush with pH'd r/o or distilled water. I use the r/o water that they sell in the machines at the grocery store. It's way cheap. The calcium and magnesium in cal-mag or even epsom salts are in a form more readily available to the plant. Hard water has so much stuff in it that it usually just locks up most of the nutrients the plant needs.
Then why have I been using it for two years without issues?
I adjust the pH and I'm good to go.

He obviously isn't giving his plant enough calcium, switching to distilled water isn't going to do anything to fix a cal/mag deficiency...
Did you even look at the link I posted, his leaves look just like the pics that's listed under calcium deficiency.

lol please just try some cal/mag so ganjababy can take a breath!
I would completely agree with his diagnosis & solution and have experienced the same problems...taking his suggestion had much better results than what you're workin with...
cal/mag & pH 6.8 = gfg

Thank you!
I am done posting on this thread.
You can take my advice or leave it.
I use cal/mag made by botanicare.
No you can't find it at homedepot or Lowes order it from a hydro store or online.
Again just follow the directions on the bottle.
I'm out!

I'm not saying you can't grow with hard water but it can certainly be a challenge. There are varying degrees of hardness. Certain water contains different minerals. If it works for you I say use it. If he suspects his problems are being caused by his water it's certainly worth giving it a try to see if changing it will make a difference. I'm just trying to share my knowledge based on my experience. I have extremely hard water and tried using it to grow. It gave me all kinds of problems and as soon as I switched the problems pretty much stopped.

The hard water is locking out your cal and mag plant intake. Renyman and the others are right. Get distilled water flush to balance your plant.

Unless your familiar with the nutes that your using, everything else is simply guess work, since your at the mercy of the mix instructions of your nutrient info that your using. Your approach is right to start small with the nutrients, but your plant is choking from the water ph and chloramine. Flush... Flush... Flush... and Flush to get the salt out.

At the very least, use vinegar to lower ph and balance accordingly or baking soda (to increase ph). You likely won't be able to rid of the spots, since it is already damaged. Affected folliage should regain its green luster, once you flushed your plants, and continue in your veg cycle with the right regime, you will begin to notice increased growth in the leaves, color and overall plant response (leaves lifting and dropping).

Is this a different plant from the other plants in the past? Some plants are more sensitive than others, and plant varieties have different tolerances. Nevertheless, it will stunt (stress) the growth of your plant and overall lushness, since it is not getting a well balanced set of nutrients.

Note your leaves are already beginning to loose luster and have a faded green...

1. FLUSH
2. BEGIN nute feeding again with ph balanced water.
3. Give it some sunlight.
