the veg a seedling room is much smaller too with my heat matt in there for my chilli seeds (its winter here) it could be getting too hot with good seedlings getting closer to the light.
ive never had this problem before since 1996 but i did grow n my mums basement for many years where it was the perfect place to grow.
Back then everyone thought my stuff was fire. now im having seedling die on me for no apparent reason.

a lot of the best chilll seeds and hard to grow chillis such as Trinidad scorpion and 7 pot brain strain are all going fine.

@Stealthstyle your best option here is to kill him.
Kill him and grind the bones to bone meal and use that on your plants

But in all seriousness you can get a trail camera on ebay for 50 mount that sucker straight across from Your door and then go outside for an hour.
Or even cheaper pretend to go get beer but look through the window to see if he goes in there

Humans don't make good fertilizer. Since we're at the top of the food chain, we accumulate all the toxins and contaminants...
Otherwise this could be a good plan. Brothers can be replaced.

Just make sure to not make too big of a hole or it won't hold dirt.
Get creative!!! Maybe u could even grow a plant through a bullet hole in his skull.

Ikr you would think that murder of a seedling would be easy to identify.
@SuperStealth if the stems looked like this its something called damping off.
Commonly misconstrued as seedling sabotage. If they are chopped right in half it was your bro for sure......... ..........

Leaves were all shriveled and dried up as though someone held them next to the light for too long to burn the leaves.
It seems to be recovering now though two sets of leaves still in tact under a humidity dome.
the distance to the cfls (2 x 23 watt was about 8-10 inches maybe it was too close before.

4in is supposed to be the rule for cfl but ive had diff strain react different some like closer some farther.
