i think i messed up...

ok so i trimmed my plants earlier. they are only about a ft tall but very tight together with branches going like crazy. one of them has 7 nodes on it with about a 7 inch branch coming from each side of each node. so i trimmed the fan leaves obviously until the top 2 sets of fan leaves. but also i trimmed all the leaves off of the branches until the top two nodes that are on them aswell (only the leaves though not the growth between the branch and the leaf) about halfway up the plant and left the leaves on the upper branches that were catching light there. i was doing this so i could get more cool air underneath the plants and to add light to the lower branches.. I just started 12/12 3 days ago. did i fuck up? i know they are gonna live but did i compramise yeilds??

Wait and see. Where there's green, there's hope.

As far as I'm concerned, a foot tall plant doesn't need to be pruned. That you did it early in flower is better than later.

To answer any better, pics are needed.

possibly...since taking off too much at once ....can stress them...are you able to post a picture?

Too early my man. You run the risk of stunting them. However i do like to trim up to the first node for air circulation reasons, but taking off fan laeves at this stage is too much. Relax and let it grow prunning should be a little ways away.

yupp what he said.. you really dont wanna be pruning anything that is not 50% or more dead. I think it is a good practice to prune lower branches and leaves for pest prevention or to promote upper growth, but never do you wanna prune upper leaves to allow for light to reach the bottom. this is the most counter productive thing you can do to your plant..

well shit, aint that a bitch, oh well ill know better next time. im hoping growth is just stunted seeing as the leaves i did trim would have eventually been trimmed anyways right? i mean each branch only had about 3 nodes on it maybe 4 on some so as long as they keep producing nodes i should be fine just dont fuck up again right?

why didnt u ask first then cut or not cut depending on advice

lol yeah man one of those plants is unlike anything i have ever seen. like 9 or 10 nodes with branches on a damn 6 inch tall plant. i have always grown outdoors in soil and just let em go and tied them down vut this hydro shit indoors is the way to go man.

growing is all trial and error, but your ladies will survive marijauna is a very stubborn plant. you probably won't see any significant growth for a little bit because she might be in shock. once your plant is established it is good practice to take of the bottom branches for air circulation and concentrate more energy on the top colas or branches. i have 3 6 site 18 gallon dwc buckets and one 2 site 5 gallon tote aswell. im growing 10 kolossus from sannies seeds, 5 starkush x KO kush and 4 bagseed, the ideal was to study the drowth patterns of good genetics vs bagseed from crompressed crap to prove to my oldschool ass dad that weed is not weed and seed is not seed. he got busted with 88 acres of marijuana in 1984 but he has never acually grown it himself hes always hired crews to do it for him and still swears he knows more about growing than i do
