i think i messed up fimming my plant, what to do?

So i tried to fim my plant about 4 days ago at the 5th node and i think i didnt cut enough off for it to do anything.
the top that i fimmed is seeming to grow normally.
even the top newly developing leaves i mostly cut off are still growing. the only difference is their missing most of the leaf. they are still healthy looking and as the new set of leaves is popping up i only see the same ammount i would if i hadnt done anything.

so my question is should i let it grow a bit more and try topping it at a different node or should i just top it right below where i screwed up to save me the wasted time of growth im gonna cut off anyway

Just leave it alone. It may not look pretty but in another day or two you'll see things start growing again, probably distorted some but they'll be fine if healthy. Cutting/topping/trimming is stressful for the plants and at this point, you're just delaying getting to the flowering point. Consider bending the main stalk if you want to increase your yield, as this will change the auxin spread and enable the side branches to grow taller and carry more bud weight.....

If you just cut the leaves and it's still growing
normally I would cut it again but if you're talking
about drooping they will droop after topping some
droop more than others~

You fucking missed doing a FIM(fuck I missed)? lol Ironic. I've actually done the same thing. I just ended up topping to correct it. I like neither. If you have the height in the grow room topping and fimming are not necessary. LSTing I have found is the most superior method of them all.
