boooooo laser! im as excited now as i was first plant in fact more because i know i'm improving with every plant every crop.

I think hanging out with your plants is good for them. There are studies that show plants reacting to other living things around them. Like one where plants are connected to a machine that synthesizes sound based upon the plants output from the connector. When people then interact with and around the plants the noise steadily increases and becomes more dynamic. In the same situation they connect a shrimp to the plants and drop the shrimp in boiling water and it sounds like the plants are freaking screaming. Crazy stuff look it up, featured on a disinfo tv episode

Yeah man, I suck. I know it. It took a few years, but you just kinda get used to it. It's definitely still fun, and I obviously love the hobby, I just don't get the anxiety about it anymore. I don't feel like it's taking forever anymore. Feels like about 2 months to flower.
I'm hoping even more so now that I finally have a perpetual going. Should get buds every 2 months or so. Eventually you gotta stop worrying about it so much right?

yeah totally i dont 'worry' about my grow anymore i wonder whether the new strain will be as good or better as the last and what not but other than that i generally grow 8 week plants with a few coming off every month. it still hasnt lost any of its shine for me yet n i doubt it will lol i dont even smoke that much i just love the art

For me its not about worrying or impatience I just enjoy looking at the plants and being around them lol

Yeah, I still do that. For an hour a day pretty much. But remember that first grow? Seemed like life stood still.

I know what you guys mean, I just woke up from a bad dream about spider mites.
And now I think I'm going to update the grow journal.
I'm about halfway through my first grow and I just want to sex these plants right now.
And also put them on 12/12 to find out if they're female.
It's ok, take your time. You'll get it.
