I See Brown Stuff

hey guys this is my 2nd attempt at growing and my 1st attempt at dwc.

i woke up this morning and found some brown stuff floating in my res and it was all on the roots of the plant as well. could someone tell me if its a problem? Ive flushed the roots with tap water and cleaned out the bucket and haven't added anything yet i was thinking maybe it was the nutes im using? im using 3 part UltraGrow liquid nutrients should i change to something more um.. official?

and btw if anyone was curious to what im cookin up the plant to the left is bag seed and plant or sprout to the right is hindu kush.



here is the specs.
GROW ROOM: CLOSET
LIGHTS: 3X DAYLIGHT CFLS 3X SOFT WHITE CFLS
HUMIDITY: 43-51
RES: 5 GAL BUCKET
AIRPUMP: TOPFIN AIR 8000
AIRSTONES: 2X 4in STONES
TEMP: 80-85 DAY TIME and 73-80 NIGHT
RES TEMP: 64-70 ALL DAY

From the look of the stuff in the third pic it looks like hydroton dust. Is it slimy or grainy like sand almost? If it's just hydroton dust it's not a big issue. Just clean the res and rinse the hell out of your medium next time =D

why thank you guys. i thought it was something threatening.

Agree, doesn't look like disease or contamination to me. Hydroton can fool you, you think it rinsed well and it's still hiding dust.

Anyone see a white bucket? Light proof??
