I painted my containers, got a question

I am about to transplant some 3week old seedlings from solo cup to 2 gal pot. I painted them white on the exterior, mainly bc I was bored... but also bc my grow room is gonna get real hot in the summer and I assumed white outsides might help reduce heat to the roots.

My concern is that some of the latex flat white paint went through the holes on the bottom and i now have a lil bit o paint on the inside of the pot at the bottom..

will this have any effects on my plants if I just leave it?
or should I try an scrape the dried paint out?

If it is dry I don't think it will hurt anything. I wash out paint brushes all the time outside and it doesn't bother the grass or shrubs.

they sell many plant containers that have been painted inside and out. they will be fine as long as its just a water based latex paint.

good idea on the white paint though as black does absorb light and can become verry hot.

ok, thanks all

I shall just clean it best i can and then transplant..
Is there any benefit to painting the top most part of the inside of pot white as well? like only just above the soil?
Its just gonna get real hot in my room come summer, Im insulating the fuck outta it and will have fans and an exhaust fan w/ duct leading outside..

But I just wanna do everything I can right now to prep for the heat...

suggestions? the space is 4 ft X 5 ft X 6 ft (6ft is height of course)

yeah.. i figured...

just bored...

One of my hopeful lil baby girls was real droopy but realllllly green.. probably just ran outta root room in the solo cup.

I transplanted and the tap root had reached bottom and JUST started growing sideways at the bottom so i hope that fixes things...

when should I fert after a new transplant?
